Not too long ago I wrote about the difficulty my patients had in terms of cleaning behind their lower front teeth and I showed them how a bent toothbrush can be made to help with this hard-to-reach area. Although better than nothing, these were not made specifically for the job. At the time I thought that it’s would be a good idea to have this type of purpose-built toothbrush available commercially. After a few months, I found out a company had already done just that !!! It’s called a reverse focus toothbrush. This is shown in the pictures below. I’m very excited to have this in our clinic very soon.
